It made me think about my own situation and how I could’ve done so many things different, yet it didn’t make me feel like I was a bad parent.  Now that I have two little ones under 7 and starting a waldorf preschool, I have a better awareness of HOW to keep the rhythm.

Whenever I think about a job, I always come back to teaching Waldorf inspired pre-school.  (I think someone is trying to tell me something, don’t you?! LOL!!)  The funny thing is that I’ve wanted to do this ever since I found out about Waldorf but I kept putting it out of my head thinking “it wouldnt pay enough”,  “I’m not patient enough”, etc, etc, etc….. all that was just excuses.  The truth is that I love kids and they seem to like me too. So that’s what I’ve decided!  I’m going to just go for it! I don’t have any type of college degree so I don’t think I can be a certified teacher in a school but I’m going to get certified by the state to do daycare in my home and then also come up with a Waldorf lesson plan so I can do the pre-school.  I’m so excited! and a little scared too!

Allyson’s 8th grade class wrote and put on a musical of the Hobbit at the end of the school year. They did an amazing job! (Allyson is the tall one in the purple top) The production lasted 1 and a half hours and worth every single ant bite

My kids love playing Wildcraft!  It’s a game to teach them about herbs and what we use them for.  Well they think it’s so funny that there’s a card talking about diarhea. lol!

Allyson’s 8th grade class went to Italy for 8 days! They visited Rome, Assisi, and Florence. She even turned 14 while in Rome. How’s that for an exciting birthday?!
